NLS 30015 | Plaster C-Clip

The NLS 30015 Plaster C-Clip is designed to provide a secure mounting solution for power points, light switches, audio plates, and other wall plates on Gyprock walls after the wall has been erected. Also known as wall clips, c clips, or u clips, these plaster C-clips are essential for achieving a neat and even appearance for all wall plates within a room.

Application:

These plaster C-clips are used to securely mount various wall plates to Gyprock walls. The process involves marking and cutting out the appropriate shape in the Gyprock, inserting the C-Clip through the hole, and securing the wall plate to the C-Clip.

Instructions:

1. Measure the height of other wall plates in the room to ensure even positioning.
2. Place the plaster bracket (C-Clip) on the wall and trace the internal U-shape of the bracket using a pencil. Mark the screw hole location as well.
3. Turn the plate upside down and align the screw holes on the side. Draw the internal U-shape again on the wall. This creates a rectangle shape with wings for screws.
4. Cut out the rectangle using a Gyprock saw.
5. Insert the C-Clip through the hole, holding onto the two tabs at the bottom. The flat section with the screw holes should touch the internal section of the Gyprock, and the tabs should be pushed down to secure the bracket.
6. From the front, you'll see two tabs holding the bracket in place at the bottom of the cut rectangle. Viewing from the sides, you'll see the bracket holes.
7. Securely attach your wall plate (power point, light switch, etc.) to the C-Clip for a secure installation.
